The Hire Purpose Commission is a workforce solution that serves the incarcerated, the justice system, the employers of our region and the community as a whole. We are a conduit for successful outcomes that impact all of us on the Middle Peninsula, in Hampton Roads, and beyond.
Our Purpose
- Introduce Middle Peninsula and Hampton Roads employers with an unexpected workforce solution.
- Help the Middle Peninsula Regional Security Center reduce recidivism with meaningful career employment for those in their care.
- Take advantage of pre-release time through proactivity, ensuring a better transition for justice involved individuals and the community.
- Help the Jail Board optimize support, essential services, internal and external education, training, and job placement for regional employers.
